Kings of Indigo | Sophie Stone

Every garment made with a conscience.

Kings of Indigo brings the best of both worlds that are important in denim; the minimalistic beauty of the pure, Japanese denim and the tough and classic American blue jeans.
Each piece of the Kings of Indigo collection has its own character and every fiber oozes durability. Every garment is produced with a conscience; innovation and sustainability are two of the brand’s key features. Kings of Indigo introduced Triple-R: Recycle, Repair, Re-use. This philosophy is followed in each step of the way. Next to the use of recycled and organic cotton, alternative washing and finishing methods are used to produce the denim, to reduce the waste of water and also to reduce the use of chemicals to a minimum. Kings of Indigo is working towards a production process that is completely sustainable, from the raw cotton, to dyeing the yarns to the finishing process with laser, ozone and ice blast.

To take it even a step further Kings of Indigo is pioneering in using post-consumer recycled cotton in new fabrics. For the apparel collection Kings of Indigo also used a lot of innovative sustainable fabriccs such as lyocell, recycled polyester, recycled wool and of course organic cotton.

Quality wear for the next era represents the classic and timeless designs from the Kings of Indigo col- lection. When a pair of jeans is made to last it can stay with you for a lifetime. On the other hand the one-liner represents the fact that Kings of Indigo cares about the world around us; making sure that the next generation can not only enjoy indigo, but also the green.
